In keeping with our goals to help small startups, Firelight Business Enterprises, Inc, is offering a service based startup or revitalization grant for very small businesses. NO MONEY IS AWARDED. Services are awarded to aid business startup. Services are provided from Firelight Business Enterprises, Inc, Admin Services, Dr. Sally Witt, Chrysalis Logos, The Merry Bird, Collins-Admin Services, and At Your Service.

Sponsored by Front Porch Folks Networking Neighborhood and Firelight Web Studio, the grant program provides complete website build or rebuild services, plus hosting and maintenance for a 1 year period, awarded to one qualified business per month. Additional business services are also provided, such as logo design, networking and marketing training, backlink services, and more.

Applications are accepted for a period of one month, open to public review for one month (non sensitive information only), and then in the judging process for one month after which the winner is announced. Grant award cycles begin on the first day of every month, so you can submit an application at any time, as long as you get it into the right month.

The winners are determined by merit. The judges will look at stability of the individual, practicality of the business concept, sustainability of the business, and other factors that affect the overall likelihood of success on the part of the individual. 

The prize awarded will be determined by the needs of the business owner. So if you need a simple website, without a cart, that is what you will get. If you need a shopping cart, forum, or gallery, that will be included in the award, up to a value of $2000. Actual value will vary based on need, which will be determined in consultation with Firelight Business Enterprises, Inc., prior to the site build. Honorable Mention awards are given to up to 5 additional candidates per month.
